Just a Hand

I know what you mean with the shadows. I knew it didn't look right when I drew it, but that's the way it was since the index finger is kinda to the side and the shadow of that finger lies between the thumb and index finger along with another little bit of shadow. I had to take a double take at it. I found it odd too.

The way the light was hitting and a flash made the shadows look like that and the black thing is just there...like a little design to show up the nails is all. I know it's an odd drawing...but....haha

Your hand is nicely drawn but I see a conflict between finger shadows and black thing under the fingers - what is that? Thank You, E
