Tucson Mountain

by Amyspitzer
I traveled to Tucson during the summer of 2002. I immediately sprained my ankle. It was a bad sprain, but I hiked into the mountains anyway. One of my subjects is mountain--they are majestic and imposing, challenging, mysterious, constantly changing. They beg to be climbed. Another is pathways. You can see pathways in this piece although you can't see where they lead. Just as in life.
Medium: Mixed media--watercolor and colored pencil on clayboard
Size: 11" x 14"
Price: $359
