Well now that the winner has been selected I will express my opinion. This tied with number one in my mind. Just thought you might like to know that your efforts at creating something from nothing was not in vain.

Hmmmm...

Hum. And I kept my size recommendation down so some of you easterners wouldn't suffer from vertigo. If this were 8 feet by 8 feet and mounted on the wall with the bottom of the canvas on the floor, it would make you feel on top of the world. That is if you could take it.

Carl, Gotta say that 4x4 might be overkill...juste moi. E

5 vote out of the way. I totally agree with Elizabeth and that does not happen that often. Well, there is one exception. I bet that this would absolutely make the viewer take a deep breath if it were, say about, four feet by four feet. I have found that making the emotional connection with a painting is just as important as the painting itself.

Yes, this was a plein air study... I do plan to paint this MUCH LARGER... 24 x 24 in.
Thank you,

Oooh, loving THIS! Your clouds have a delicate depth and a serene, traveling, movement. You don't need to put much into the mountains and trees. Those decisive colors and attention-grabbing brushstrokes tell me all I need to know. Let me suggest that you do this one again on something a bit larger - I think an 11x14" or even 16x20" canvas would enhance the power of your work even more. Thank You, E
