I sorry it took me so long to comment back to your beautiful comments, My husband was very ill and passed away in February of this year. I appreciate the honorable mention in the contest.

Well, I never thought in my wildest dreams that I would choose a photo over a painting. This is that photo. This photo in the bluest sense it true to the contest theme. The photo shows a good connection between sky and ground, in this case water, with different shapes and patterns that are true to form. It evokes strong emotion. Hope my next series does this justice. Got my 5.

Glad I am not the judge. This is tough. Thank you for giving me permission to use this as inspiration for a new collection of paintings I am about to do. It makes me remember the number of times I almost drowned in boot camp, life breath inspirational at the same time. Need to think more before I decide. I know votes at this stage have no impact on the final decision, but it is important to me to be truthful to the artist.
