Very nice. I love working with charcoal, and often start with a mid-tone rubbing then go in both directions (lighter and darker) simultaneously. It does make you think in reverse, doesn't it? This is quite well done.

Thank you so much! This project was a reversal, so I had to black out the board with charcoal and draw everything with an eraser. Needless to say, rendering this was an uphill battle (especially the fabric).

I think this is well done and compelling. The intense expression on this man's face makes him look like he is solving the world's toughest problems. I also think you did a lovely job rendering fabric.
