ASC Drawing Group - Topic 4: Eyes

Postby Singular » Mon Nov 05, 2007 8:27 pm

Hello all,
Let's get back to basics. All great faces start with the eyes. Make them as realistic as you can, or just have fun drawing many eyes with different emotions.

This Week's Topic Is: Eyes

Carmelo, that's a great image. Anthony, love it...as usual. I'm gonna have to quit commenting on your stuff, cuz I like it all and people are beginning to get bored with my constant raves. :D

eyes [black pan on paper]

Postby Lyudmila Kogan » Fri Nov 09, 2007 11:59 am

Actually, drawing eyes is one of my litthe absessions. I draw little drawings while talking on the phone, while listening lectures, during meetings, and on many other ocasions.

Excellent work. I can see that I'm going to have to get serious rather than just spending fifteen seconds on a quick sketch now. Sigh. Who raised the levels around here. Grumble.

Thank you D, I have learned a bunch from your posts, very helpful to one who has much to learn about online art applications. This is a favorite forum venue, thanks Singular and Anthony for this drawing group that is now beginning to get very interesting!

Master

Postby Carmelo » Sun Nov 11, 2007 8:56 pm

I think that is a masterful helmet Spartan, what is the word master about?
We master a particular technique after long practice, but does that make us masters of that technique? Then, again, this one's about eyes and I would that I could master this upload technique, arf! It gives me fits on occasion.
