Marilyn Monroe

Very recently I've been working on a portrait of Marilyn. I was nervous to do this one because so many people have painted and drawn her. I've seen so many good pieces of art work done of her that taking the leap to paint her was a big step.

Anyways, here it is. It isn't done yet and I still have a lot of work to do on it but so far, I think it looks okay.

I don't know what you still have left to do, but it looks pretty complete. Yes, Marilyn has been done numerous times, and a Pop-Art version of her is pretty well-known as well. You have pulled her off fairly well and made it your own dispite the commonality of subject. Nicely done.

Thanks so much for the reply. :] I still have to put some more shadows and what not on the face and hair and it should be complete. :]
