Nice Karen! It looks just like the one I purchased from you to send to my friend in the UK. Is it the same sketch? I know the previous one you did had a bit of green in the eyes.
I still love it and so did she! You do fantastic on these!

Thank you Rich and Barb.

This is done from the same pattern used for your friend.

I have folders marked, Owls, Horses, Bull Riders, Bears, etc...... You have to transfer the image, then burn it. Anybody can transfer an image, even children, the hard part is burning the image into the wood.

I create and use my own patterns and don't download any. My patterns are more complicated than the ones you will see on the net.

So, if somebody purchases a piece from my website, and it's sold, I can still make one for them using the same pattern. No two are the same, each is an original.

If you check out the web, most people who wood burn offer their patterns for sale or download.

I also free hand draw on the wood depending on the subject (like landscapes) but using a pattern is much faster.

Beautiful Pyrography! I love how the feathers are so soft looking and how the owl is clutching the foliage that looks like it's trying to escape from his clutches.

Nice job. I've tried a little wood burning but can never get anything to have an even line.
