New to this kind of site.
Spend last 2 days with my lap top and lots of coffe viewing all this amazing work. Thinking of getting a bit more serious with my art. Curently working on my own creating fireplace mantels (www.keystonecast.com)
But can't get away from this need to paint ... you know what I am talking about? LOL
Looking forward to your thoughts and suggestions.

Hi Slav,

Welcome to ASC. It's nice to have you here. Your images in the gallery are very nice... and your mantles are amazing.

I just purchased an electric fireplace insert for my basement, with the intention of building a mantle for it that would also support my TV. I haven't had much success due to lack of time, money and resources to build it. I checked out your web site and think your work is amazing. I am very impressed. Do you build them or just the designer?

I wonder what the price tag for one like below would be.

all the best,

Hi Slav, welcome to ASC. Wow, those mantels are really beautiful. Do you carve stone?

HI guys,

Thanks for your interest.
Its one man show ... me. I design, build the molds, cast the parts and install for the client. If I need a carved element I do it in clay and pour silicon over, creating a mold. So the parts are cast (stonecast or thincast) Everyone has secret mixture and procedure to make it look like real stone.
The mantel above would run about $1100 installed. (not including the insert - that one was existing woodburning insert)

Glad you like them. I have fun making them.
