I live in a small city with very little opportunity to interact with other artists. The
oad range of artists using this forum appeals greatly to me and I think there is much I can learn here.

I am with you on this, beakerless? I live in a rural area and have a very small social life. Gas is so expensive for me that I don't go out very often. So, while not making art and working I want to make friends here. Keep posting.

I'm in the same situation as dianapotts; rural area, nothing within walking distance, and no gas money. Also, it is a pretty traditional area, and the sort of art I've seen is very traditional as well, lots of watercolor and oil landscapes, still lifes, etc. This site gives me a chance to receive much more rounded feedback. I love it!
