'Playing Hopscotch '

Postby yoli » Sat Dec 19, 2015 9:19 am

This is a new project hopefully for my art show. Pastel and colored pencils, started the skin tones not done yet. Happy with the right hand
left hand is fore short, not too sure about it so I could use some advice on it, I am not touching it with color until I have it right. Oh yes, pastel paper.

Position your hand to match what you have done looking in a mirror. Take a digital photo then use it as a reference.

Hello Carl!, thank you for the input but I decided not to drive myself crazy so I changed the entire position of the arm.
the color on the other hand is driving me crazy so I will go back to it. :)

Funny but eloquent solution.

I really like the progression Yolanda, this turned out great... I would challenge to try more with the hand position that was giving you trouble... once you nail that, I think another piece using the refined position will add a bit more dynamics to your drawing... But I do love this one, its very charming.
May your world be painted in the Brightest of colors!
