I would appreciate that, Elizabeth. Let me give you an advise if you would like to take it. Don't use oil if the deadlines are to close, instead use acrylic or alkyd, and be very careful when choosing the varnish (try to use the paints and varnish from the same manufacturer to avoid unpleasant surprises and read very carefully the labels...). Your happy customers will be happy for longer.
Best regards
Anelia

Dear Blade: The picture was for a benefit for victims of the Sierra Leone
Wars back in the 90s'. The artists had the option to keep a percentage
of the proceeds but I donated 100 per cent. Yes, the painting originated from a photo. ehoeveler

The kid's eye reallys says alot. This pic gets to me because of where I've been and the people there. You probably figured that out already though.Oh yeah,I am a tree hugger.I have the last real yard in South Laguna.People want the trees cut down because they block the ocean view.

I can imagine there would be tugs at the heart if you've actually been there. I appreciate your caring enough to make sure these people are
not getting screwed yet again. Would you be interested in writing your
observations from the trip for our Writers' Section? Thanks again ehoeveler

I just I'd add my two cents worth about the painting--I really loved it--the boy's expression of perhaps what could be considered as smugness adn definance came through--A really excellent work!!
