Thanks very much! I posted this one a couple of months ago in an unfinished form. At the time I thought it was finished...but the more I looked at it...the more I knew it needed a lot more work...so I pulled it out of mothballs and put a few more hours into it. I'm glad you like it!

Mike, I really like this drawing. It,s very bold. Great detail and contrast. I hope you frame this one.

Thanks for the comments. I really want to go darker, but it's hard to do even with +6 graphite pencils. I've hear faber castell pitt has oil base black pencils that can deliver a more profound dark, but I'm having a hard time locating some to buy....I may try mixing mediums in black and white and gray scale drawings...we will see...
