my first oil painting :(

i am working on oil colors these days... but i m not at all satisfied with the results....i dont understand what i am doing wrong...plz tell me what can i do to improve....

Well, I like this work very much. The colors are very rich and deep. If this is indeed your 1st oil painting. You,ve hit the ground running. Thier,s no wrong or right way to go about doing art work. You will learn from every work you do. Don,t worry about it. I,ve got the feeling your going to do real good. And you will learn a lot from this site. Keep working.

It's a wonderful scene with lively colours, I don't know where you feel you had problems. Maybe elaborate so that you get help. Other than that, just keep working, and many of the technicalities will get solved by just practice. Good luck!

I don't see that you are doing anything "wrong" the painting looks just fine to me. You did a great job on composition and color.

Move on to something else, you will learn with each painting you complete. There are several of us hear learning how to paint so you're not alone.
