Like the 1st one the best. And perhaps the background could be a blueish gray.
Perfection is what drives an artist.
The inability to achieve perfection is what creates a work of art.

I like the first one as well. the background, really should be versatile. BUT..... I was thinking along the same lines as you, I was imagining a bluey/purpley grey cloudy type blurred background.
I haven't taken it that far yet....

thanks for the comments, its nice to know someone else thinks the way I do!!!!

I also prefer the first one, but my first thought was coloured flower and text.

I also like the first one, but I would color the flower and leave the text and background as is...

Hi Shannon,

The first one is more happy and artistic. Good design.

Thanks everyone. I do plan to add colour. I am contemplating what colour... I don't want to over-girl it by making it a girly colour, I think I will go with some form of blue...

Thanks for all your help, I will post when I have some sort of colour in there..

My suggestion: a violet-blue sort of color.

1st one! May you could try a gradient in the flower design, deep blue on the left (not to dark) changing into light purple to the right?!...
Well, why are we here if not to create?

They both are very good but I like the first one also. I like the idea of just coloring the flower as Arlynn suggested. If you're going to use a backgroung color, make it just that....in the background, faint or very light in color. Great job!!

Preference

Postby BAReam » Sat Nov 29, 2008 7:40 pm

For my money the first is superior. I tend to see this with a very light paynes gray background with the flower as cerulian blue; or blue violet.

Imagination

Postby Michaelblade » Fri Dec 12, 2008 8:18 pm

The first one is the one.If this is going to represent you,I suggest creating even more and finding one that really shows Harmony. This logo is in my opinion, not creative enough. You asked for critique and I am giving mine. Your harmoniously beautiful soul needs to show even more.

I still like the design, but I'm not sure blue is the right colour. Unless you find a nice background colour to compliment it.

Thanks Michaleblade, Erika.... I will go back to it. Look into it further. Thank you Michaelblade for your critique. I appreciate the directness. I have had to learn over the years that cirtique for my art is not a critique against me, even if I love whatever I have done...... so no worries about your opinion.... I appreciate them all
