I've been looking at this piece for a bit... I like it a lot. My
ain tells me that I would like to see a SMALL area of Cobalt Blue or Sap Green, just something to counterpoint the red.

If an artwork could be described as a taste... I would describe it as "chocolate covered cherries" like getting to marrow of a thing or idea. Does that make any sense?

Bruce, thank you so much for the attention you paid to my work.You are right, something green is missing, to suggest some leaves around; though my painful state of mind during drawing refused to
eak the uniformity of the colors, otherways the piece would become too...alive and wouldn't suggest the PAIN.

Hello Nona,
I have been looking at your painting few times and tried to find coses of such pain. Of course thorns are sharp and in your painting it is symbol of pain. You were really sad painting them. For me it shows some kind of loss. I can see cat's eyes and fur. What is it? Did you lose your beloved pet ? I can see also cat's paws and claws, that is why it makes me think like that. There is something more in your painting Nona. The globe in the right top corner of your painting suggests, that somebody close to your heart lives far away from you?? Maybe if you went there everything would change for the better. I am not sure. The light behind globe tells me , that there is always some hope in your heart , that pain will be gone one day.
Am I correct?
