What do you think?

Postby wadedwards » Sun May 16, 2010 2:11 am

Hi everyone, I just started painting in December of 2009 and had never painted or did anything to do with art before. Could you tell me what you think because a lot of what I paint has been sold and i don't understand why? My friends who were shocked about it say it was a hidden talent.

I love the soft monochromatic color pallette, and the soft positioning of the figures. This is a beautiful painting

wadedwards,
I can see from this painting, which I love btw, you certainly have talent!
No suprise to me, after viewing your gallery postings, that you are finding a market for your artwork. It is very well done! :D My fav of your Gallery postings are the Goose and also the Elephant and baby! I'm an animal lover as well, and I can see by your renditions in those paintings, that you are as well.
This one is very good as well, love the softness as mentioned, but also the simple color palette. You ability to show the viewer, warmth, tenderness with limited color usage is wonderful!

Thank you BYart, I do like animals and it does seem to be the way that I should go.. I don't know how this painting came out of me but once I started it I couldn't stop for anything. This is a painting of my wife Wendy and daughter Ocean-Lee.
