Very nice painting. The composition is a bit formal and static to for my taste, but a very pleasant painting nonetheless.

I also would like to know if it was painted from a mag or something..or was it painted from looking at a real flower. I had a teacher once tell me when learning look at "life" so you can learn the shadows, curves, etc of the object better then you would from a picture.

You do a great job for only painting a year have you taken classes?
