Thank you. :) Hm, good idea on the red there. I thought something is missing but couldnt pinpoint exactly what. I believe that the red would be a nice vicious contrats to it and the comet/asteroid would get rid of its 'moon'-look with it. Thank you a lot! I believe I will modify it as soon as it dri...

Thank you! :) The yellow shape in the foreground shall be a wheeping willow at the end. Its colors shall range from yellow to own with a dash of orange. I want it to stand out and at same time complimenting the sky and even be the 'sun' of the painting. In the back shall also be tall leafless trees....

Thank you. :)

I played with the 'sky a bit. I'm not striving to a 'reality' look on this piece but I don't want to go far away from it either. It is actualy something new that I'm trying to do.

Here is what I have now:

The question to you all is: what do you do when you don't like your work but others do? Do you give in? That is a good question. Well, first I question a person why he/she likes it in 'detail' then I sit before the piece for 15 to 60 minutes in silence without distractions looking at the work and t...

Thank you all for your thoughts, I apreciate it very much. =) Erika, the story behind the piece or idea upon wich I builded is: A comet travels peacefuly and beautiful like a sleeping baby, but when it awakes... Also the nemessis is inging destruction and/or new form of life. Thank you all again. :)

Landscape that I'm working on today

Hi to all! :) I just started to work on a landscape. It is not a real place so the only image of it is in my head. There shall be some clouds, trees an a wheping willov infront all and of course some 'water'. It shall be oil on 17.7x23.6" (45x60cm) and here is what I have done so far. Thoughts,...

Thank you, I'm glad to be here. :D Yes, it is sometimes hard to do all, specialy was so for past 5 years but as kids are growing I have more and more time. Re: Thought Of The Day - anyone want to share?

I just wanted to share the most beautiful phenomenon I've ever seen yesterday. It was just before sunset and I looked up at the sky. I saw the most wonderful shapes and colours ever, nicer than a painting. For background there was the blue sky, there were clouds fragmented by the sun's white reflec...

Tell me what you think, please =)

Hi! Well, I'm ready for the fury. 'The Child of Nemessis' is oil painting on 15.7x15.7 in (40x40 cm) streched canvas. Its the 5th oil painting that I have done meaning I'm still fresh to oils. There is a story behind the painting but I will left that out since I'm interested in your thoughts...

I am stuned, seriously. I could be fooled that its a photography since it looks all so real. The choice of colors, I believe, could not be more perfect as it is. The pose is interesting and raises thoughts about what 'the subject' is thinking. Also like the rinkles of the sheet. As a conclusion: thi...
