this is a portrait of my grand daughter. I was originally going to flip the pic so her eyes were on top, but this is the only way her eyes focus on the viewer

thanks Joe! I can see that....and I think I do it on purpose...some parts exact and some parts doodle......the perfection makes me feel IDK...i want pple to see that it is a piece of paper and a pencil...its like magic...lol

hi Joe! Im working woth pastels. This is a little better, but i dont know what else to do with it, so I call it done...

im trying to have the background all washed out and faded because its so cloudy, but i wish i had a little more detail...any ideas..tips..?

you should! try a good quality soft pastel...so much better than coloring....and i miss sculpting...i just happen to be out of clay

i like the picture as much as the painting because if you look close, you can see the pastel powder and a bit of a 3d feel...i want to wipe it off...
