Great pic. I would leave the horizon crooked and as is, but def get rid of fence and power lines. To me the status of the graveyard, how it is old and deteriorating, is reflective of what lies below, and says a lot of the passage of energy through time. If the horizon is level it may take away some ...

I curved it to make it a bit more surreal and confusing. I also read a comment on someone else's painting that nature and life tend to have curved lines while objects tend to be linear. I wanted this to appear a little alive and seething, and to make the viewer apprenhensive yet compelled.

Nice work, I could never get acrylic looking that good, lol. If you need a good reference book check out the encyclopedia of aircraft of ww2. its a cheapo bargain book, but a good 1. You may want to extend the right wing (if looking at the pic) just a tiny bit, and maybe adding some armements, such ...

1st Abstract attempt

This is called Book of the Dead, and is my 1st go at abstract art. My intention was to create a spooky and disturbing image that appears to be bound flesh. It is oil on canvas, 11x14 each. I would be grateful for any input or critique. Thanks for taking a look.

If ya like fantasy art check out " painting with fire" a bio/doc of Frank Frazetta. By no means is he an art master, but his work is great.

I dig your perspectives in your paintings. This one is a bit held back by the colors you used. Its difficult for the eye to distinguish the chair from the floor, and the walls blend together a bit much. Change up your colors and you will be golden.

Looks like it wants to pop out of the canvas, especially the large )( shaped orange and blue areas . Wonder how much it would pop if the smaller intersecting lines where left to the background and the orange and blue )( where more solid and not
oken up by the intersecting lines. Very cool pic!

Very cool pic, wonder what it would be like if it where dark and twisted, perhaps a haven for witches or vampires. I would love to paint that pic in reds and blues. There is definitely a story waiting behind the chapel doors!

Hello artists!

Hello all who read, my name is TinteFaust. I am an aspiring artist. I have had artistic ability since I could remember, mostly drawing, however I've never studied art. Pretty cool pic. I like how you kinda fall into the painting when looking at it. Reminds me of leaving the house drunk and worried, or something to that effect.
