I like the glass, the shadow/reflection is a bit solid looking but the glass looks great! keep up the painting it's very good.

I think most stuff with text works by having many layers and elements, if there were more elements that related to the idea you were going for it might be more effective. I like the look and Ted was right a bit of darkening on the right side of all the figures with more detail on the front guy maybe, but again it has to look right to your eyes. Somber though, well stated.
