Absolutely no problem. The Wacom bamboo tablet is a physical device that you can connect it to the system and can use it just like you use a mouse. The difference being more accuracy and more features Its similarly like drawing on a mouse pad.

Corel painter is like a software, so you dont need a tablet to operate it... you need the tablet to draw more accurately. You can use tablet to draw in paint or any other countless softwares. Hope I have explained it properly... Let me know if you have any more doubts... would love to explain more in detail. If you are interested in going further in digital art, let me know... I can give you some tips as well..

Absolutely no problem Abi... Its a software... just like photoshop and MS paint. I had bought the software and then installed it in my system. I attached a Wacom tablet and use that to draw. you can buy it from their site... Corel Painter or even from Amazon That's how I got it...

I use my computer HP envy. Which version of Corel painter are you using? I myself am using Corel Painter X3. Do you get any error message? Moreover Corel Painter X3 requires high memory usage... may be that is problem? Do let me know.
