Hello Elizabeth! I'm still here. I just didn't have any animals or anything blue, so I sat the last two contests out. Glad you like this one :)

OK, OK. I can't argue with that. You win this round. Nice bantering with you again.

Diminishment of passion? I wouldn't call it that. Panic stifles the release of creativity. (So does despair, for that matter.) Passion comes in many forms, and some are more conducive to the artistic process than others.

Cute Charlene, cute. I wonder if the army personnel involved in retrieving masterpieces in WWII would agree with Ken. Or, if the world would just let it go that ISIS is destroying ancient artifact temples. Maybe Van Gogh would have kept his ear. Don't know, but to me the diminishment of the passion for the purpose of creating art is somehow disconcerting.

Haha it's only a painting. It's never going to be life threatening...(That's a quote from Ken Paine)

You are welcome. I hope you do. It would be fun for you to feel that hollow cold air panic in the center of your chest as you look at and decide to attack the canvas.

Thanks, Carl. This was a field study. I may do that larger piece yet...
