The Silent Victim of War

by solensdatter
The Sandcat is an endangered species with habitate from Northern Africa - though the middle East to Central Asia. These beautiful small cats have survived though their numbers have decreased with centuries of wars. In ancient Egypt they were treated as Gods and it was death penalty for killing cats. We often forget that animals are the Silent Victims of Wars.

Such a nice little cat!
I remember so many dogs being abandoned during the war in Bosnia... You are entirely right, animals are also victims of wars: thanks for giving them a voice.

Precious kitty - I love them and I love Sandcats. I'm curious as to what's going on around this one. Thank You, E
