Mountain Pass Sunrise series 5 of 7

by CarlOwen
There is a place in the mountains above Santa Fe, New Mexico that opens up to the Pecos Wilderness. If you are early enough, if you dress warmly enough, if the weather is just right, and if you have enough patience; this is your reward. This series of oil paintings is done with pallet knife in layered stages of application.
Medium: Oil on canvas
Size: 24 by 36 inches
Price: Not for sale at this time

Good morning Adain. You can call me Carl. Thank you for your vote and comments. It has taken about eight years to learn how to use the pallet knife, at least to this stage. I just love the drama the technique can manifest.
