February Sunrise on the Rio Grande

by CarlOwen
About half way between Santa Fe and Taos, is a gorge that closes upon the river. It is difficult to get to. You must pay attention to the road at your life's risk. This is a section of river just before some white water rapids. This is my presentation of a sunrise at that river section. Unlike most artist's view of a distant faded color view of New Mexico and the southwest in general, I disagree. This is a most brilliant, up close and in your face life threatening thrilling place to live.
