Hi E and Carl. Thank you for your feedback on this one. It's good to hear your views and suggestions for improvement. I'm thinking of entering this in a local exhibition, so will consider adding your suggestions first. I'm a little worried about adding colour, with it being wet in wet but I definitely agree with you Carl, I was hoping that my colours would be deeper. Also worried that my attempt at a spider might actually ruin it altogether(!)

Bernie, I like the time you took to make this look like a real spider web. Background workings are appropriately soft and interesting. I would come back and make some of those strands glint a little by adding a touch more white to some and add a couple of dewdrops for interest. Thank You, E

Interesting picture Bernie. Nice color band with various color interchanges without repetition. I would like to see a little deeper colors in the lower left and the upper right to reduce the bland washout effect of the total painting. It would also be nice to see the spider.
