good start - color blocking is good... watch the neck & shoulder proportions. Keep going - cant wait to see where you take it!

Looking good!! I would slow down on the details and finishing it a bit, and really dial in the high and low tones... be careful not to over shadow the mouth area so it doesn't look like a muzzle. remember there too, is highs and lows - the divot just under the nose that creates the bow in the upper lip for instance. this looks flat presently. Keep going here.. create depth around the eyes.. then when you are happy with structure, tone and light/shadows, then add details accordingly. :)
