This is a nice little watercolor. But there is one thing that is bothering me about the image. I think that, from the angle you have painted it, you would see at least a small part of his left ear. Maybe just the top of it, where it meets his head. Check your reference photo. That part just doesn't look right to me. I could be wrong, of course.

I see what you mean. Thanks! I was drawing from a couple of different photos, trying to make it look like my friends dog and I missed the back ear. I am sure the ear would show some too. Thanks again!

I agree with Pooch here. It looks a little weird when you're seeing it from the angle you painted it. The missing ear is the first thing I noticed when I had a look at your picture. Other than that, it's beautifully done!
