This project took about a month to finish. I did not come up with the concept, but did come up with the color scheme. This paper swan uses a technique called "3D Origami". It just means making a ton of little triangles out of paper and sticking them together. No glue is required! There are about 500 pieces altogether. Check out my other video in the description for a tutorial on how to make your own creations!

That kind of work is great. And it's looks super hard to do. And with the skill you have. You made be able to apply that skill to thin copper. Copper is
already soft. And if you heat it to red. And then drop in cold water. It will be as soft as paper. And you can use soilder to help you put it together.
When your sculpture is done. You can patina it to any color you want. Keep Working
What we do as artist, Is to say, Stop, Snap out of it. Get your mind right. Now walk down that street you've been driving down
for 20 years. Tell me of the things you've never seen before.

Thank you for your interest! What tools do you need? Is a torch enough? What is this process called so I can accurately look it up?

Look up copper art work. A small torch, yes. red and green metal shears. Strait edge. And thin copper sheet. And you can find that at any sheet metal shop.
All tools can be found at Home Depot. And you can find books on metal working at Bs&Nople. And you can buy patina at Sculpt Nouveau, online.
If you do the kind of work you are doing with paper. And do that with cooper. Your go far. Far!

Thanks for sharing this! I haven't seen anything like this before and you definitely sparked my interest! I don't think I could pull this off, but I was amazed by just watching it.
