Seeing Red

This is a piece is based around Wrath or Anger which is one of the seven deadly sins.
It's kind of a narrative. It's about a young girl who has to fight for survival while living on the streets.

I think the hair area needs to be expanded to fill the lower left corner .. also a little light reflection on the hair .. just a suggestion

Thanks for the feedback:) Yeah, I should have added more value to the hair.
Oh and it's oil pastel.

The eyes in this piece is an extremely powerful focal point. The only place that distracts me from the powerful moment you've built is the neutral darker tone on her right upper lip rounding around to her chin. It brings a 5 o'clock shadow to mind. (An issue I had with portraiture for a looong long time.) I feel that that effect is easily remedied with a slightly lighter/even tone over that area.
I honestly believe that this would bring out the raw intensity of her eyes even more.
I love her strong gaze. ^.^

Tvery good powerful painting. It's off to a great start.. I would suggest to really watch the planes /angles of the base skeletal structure. Lips have a upward to the right slant where eyes are downward in opposition, Many of which can be corrected with some highlights and shadow as they are very slight. Also, add a bit more definition to the eyes, to give a sense of depth but also life to them. Keep it up!
May your world be painted in the Brightest of colors!
