Research for painting series on 'being remembered'

I am researching concepts for a painting and drawing series about.
There are no limits in my mind to where this idea can go.
I want to get as many points of view as possible
Being remembered, recording and preserving our lives and history is an important subject to me and I think it is losing its meaning in our digital world.
Please share your thoughts!

I have always love the Jewish tradition of putting a small rock or pebble on top of a tombstone . One because it lets others
know that you stopped by and second it is a wonderful way of keeping the person's memory alive.
