Looking for feedback on photos

Postby sixelaphoto » Sat Aug 18, 2007 4:19 pm

Hello everyone! I am a newcomer here and a novice photographer. All my works are done with a point-and-shoot digital camera and I am welcoming all types of feedback. Additional photos can be found on my website, which is through a print-on-demand company.

I hope the watermarking isn't too distracting; those images were the only ones I currently have on file that fit the requirements for uploading on the forum.

Thanks in advance for your time!

Hi there and welcome. I love your work, especially the travel photography. Very nice. By the way, if you want to post larger images that are too large in file size to upload, you could always hotlink (put the url of the image inside of tags). For example:
Code: Select all

all the best,
Joe

You definitely have a good eye and see things most others would just pass by, I love your black and whites they are very dramatic

You have an excellent eye for photography. It is one of the only areas in which I have experience as an art form and it took me years to get shots like this. I
owsed through your website and definitely like the rural/farm shots. I'd say you certainly have a good start as a photographer.

Thank you Snider and Teknowizard for your very kind words! I am just starting out and still trying to see where I fit in amongst all the other photographers and artists out there. I think I will continue to try to display and sell my works, and maybe someday the public will be interested in them.

The pictures are very good. They show a sense of depth and perspective. They also show contrast in both the color and black and white.
