One point and two point perspective art

Postby Shelina Khimji » Tue Jun 03, 2014 7:17 am

I am currently working on forests, streets, etc and refining my skills on one point, two point etc perspectives. Are there such art works available on this site. I would love to view them especially streets as I find them so fascinating. I hope the next competitions theme is streets, whoa I would love to see all sorts of different ideas.

I'm afraid I'll have to let your clicker do the clicking - so many different types of one and two points
on our site. I love the work of one member, radoxist. We have a lot of cityscapes, so start clickin, Sister!
Here are some examples...some may not be real cities but could be...

HI Shelina,

I thought I knew perspectives until I took drafting in college. That, was after 30 years of drawing and boy did that class sharpen my eye. Nothing makes something look more real once you understand how to draw it. I will find my final project drawing cover sheet and post it.

Keep trying, always keep trying.

Hi Shelina,

Here's my example of perspective. It is 10 years old from my final Architectural Drafting class project. Looking at it now, I can see the shadowing could be better. I think it was a 3 point perspective. Like I said, I really learned A LOT from taking Technical Drafting classes.
I got an A!
Now let's see if I can get the picture in here...and not be gigantic.
