Latex Lady I just love the female figure (updated)

Postby mikemontalvo » Tue Apr 08, 2014 3:41 am

Well I took a break as one group member suggested and this is what I realized. I love to draw the female figure. To me it is the essence of emotion. If that makes sense. There is just a feeling that overcomes me as I draw the curves and shade and highlight the body. Maybe I am a little like Pigmalean, trying to create the perfect woman? Anyhow I find myself doing a better job on female subjects; so I'll stick to this type of art for now. So enough rambling this is what I am currently working on. Any thoughts?

I figured out a background I like and started the sketch. I also added some more detail. I'm calling the piece "Women Drivers" LOL

You are Rockin' this latest look! I like this 'simple' attire without the accessories - pure latex, baby! It has all the glam and gleam needed. Great attitude pose, purple/black very nice and good job with her face and hair. Thank You, E

It's so friggen shiny!
A gotta say, I quite like your use of color, proportioning, and stance.
...I'm so jealous 8p
The fate of men, might weigh on me,
But I take that sin quite well,
Only cold wins, in the dark it seems,
But I hear there's warmth in hell...

I like her sassiness indeed... the colors and style is great too...
check you positioning of the femur to the hip area... it looks not balanced from one side to the other...even at the accentuated hip, it looks like the left (foreward stretched) leg may need adjusting. :) Speaking of accentuated angle, I like that you are incorporating a unusual pose general folks.. the placement you chose for the ribcage, spine curve, and the hips... Ribcage is slid to the left, not really angled... abdoment has the tilt(spine), and hips are slid to the right, not overly angled...this is cool. and Challenging... I usually can find models that do this within the Bellydance community. :)

Very curvy and shiny! I would like it to have darker shading, but that is probably just me. Nice work, Mike.

Now that you've added the uber-cool background maybe some dark or lighter purp within the latex would help her stand out a bit more - she's gonna need some bolder coloring. I do love that background....maybe just fade the background a tiny bit more...
