Underwater Scene + Hand Painted Christmas Card in Oil

Well, This is my first underwater painting. There is more I would like to do to it but I am satisfied for now. I can always try another one.
The title is Lonely Pearl









And this is a Christmas card I had done for a friend of mine. After finishing it, I had realized that resembles my great uncle Ron Lambert's style. Not too shabby for a couple hours of work. Now I am considering making a dozen with the intent of selling.

Very nice... I definitely like them... great work.
I agree with your thought "done for now, will do more with the next one".. often less can be more... or we as artists overthink things... which if we act on them rather than just go with the flow of inspiration... we run the risk of muddying a peice that was initially perfect. Great job!

Both your paintings are beautiful and really fantastic. I loved the one called "lonely pearl". The painting has very nice and brilliant shades of blue. All the detailing is done so perfectly. And the other card painting is also amazing. Best luck.
