I just finshed this work of Ram's Island Lighthouse. I did it in oil where my other paintings are watercolor. what do you think?

I like the playfulness and colors - I could go for more lightness
with the bottom sky or maybe lighten up some clouds?
Thanks, E

I really like your seagulls and how the lighthouse seems to be rusty. What style do you work in? I know you use watercolor, just trying to put my finger on this style...

I used oil in this. I changed media because in oiI I can get better color in doing my work. I just paint what I see more like realism. I do watercolor, pastel, ink and graphite pencil also.

I love it, the colors, playfulness, everything. The boat is perfect, as is whole composition.

Very nice relaxing scene. Maybe a trifle more variation in the sky and sea to break the flatness.
