I am a retired PC tech. Have loved art all through High school. I just finished the FAS course on landscaping but my specialty is seascapes. I do lighthouses and ships. Learning new painting techniques with fellow artists Danny Hahlbohm, Byron Pickering and Bill blackman. Glad I found this site it seems to have alot to offer. Do not have my own site up yet waiting until I get a few paintings done.

I am also a member to wet canvas and I am able to upload my work there with no problems. With them they resize them to the correct size for their site. But it seems my pictures are too big for here. I really cannot reduce the size of them so I do not know if I will be able to upload any. Will try again..

These are the newest ones I did. One I am still working on one , the ambrose lightship.

I enjoyed your quote by Picasso. Art is always a learning process and you
are learning quite well.
You already have the right idea in the way your forms and image layout
are worked. Continue to develop the details; color depth and highlighting
for the waves of 'Shore and Sun' along with reflections and highlights of
your boat, the 'Edmund'. The sky of the 'Edmund' could be a bit more developed.
