Hi, Steve! Of course I'm lovin' the burn theme but
I'm wondering why your brick wall doesn't reach the
bottom of the picture. Your Girl is tragically lovely
but her left eye seems a bit too far off from her nose,
the center point. Now, this is just a personal observation
but I would love to see just a little more shading and
definition with her lips and nose. 'Best, E.

I really like the lips in this actually and the nose is much better here. Are you trying to go for something closer to realism? do you work with guidelines when drawing faces? I would suggest it here. The eye should be lower and closer to the nose.

Some shading would help define the curves of the face. I do love your burn tecnique thought.

Ya know what, Steve - I'm calling a retraction of my earlier feedback.
Your Girl is fine and her eye is cool and interesting. I think I was just
being anal that day. Sorry!!! (But some shading would give her a little more depth)

Steve, my feedback is always subject to change but I won't change my mind again.
Your burn series is interesting with just enough of a comic book feel to make
the subject and situation appear somewhat less horrible(?) than it actually is.

I have always enjoyed comics I guess that's where my "style" has come from I have only been working with ink of any kind for a few months. I just enjoy to put a pen, pencil, or whatever to paper and just let it go.

How big are they? I think they would have the best effect if they would be huge and even if they were the size of one comic box. Nice.

I liked this piece from the first time I saw it and I really like the additions you did to the original. You have a really unique style. I'm loving the imagery. Keep it up.

I like the overlay look... the burns make more sense with the sepia tones added to them. I also read the blank white spaces as the Shadow in a way (which oddly is opposite from the norm), which intrigues me.
