Tied To Technology

Hey everyone, this is an artwork I did with the intention of sharing my thoughts about the title itself and the concept of technology and how we have grown dependent on it throughout our daily lives, alas tied to it. Enjoy, all of you!

I dig the concept. And I like the colors. And the background is really cool.

Howeve, the person's on the right's head is sort of a bit to large. And maybe some deeper shadows on the figures would make the peice pop more.

How funny that after seeing Joseph Kaplinsky's art, I'm treated
to a multi-level digital piece by Hex! While there are many layers to
this work your message is appealing and easy to read.
I would like to see more highlighting with the boy's pants or maybe a lighter color
because the bottoms just disappear into the overall picture. I think a little more
detailing is called for with the girl's boots, as well. Plus, I'm not sure about the
bars going through the bottoms of your subject's shoes.
And can I say just one more thing? The green binding around your figures is an
important part of this picture but while the color is great, the actual substance of
the binding seems weak, like you're not quite sure what to do with it.
I want to see that binding glow, clutch, grab, shackle and imprison the two kids
like the strong force I think you want it to be! Very cool and exciting. E.

Thanks for the feedback! ehoeveler, I tried to keep the coloring simplistic and not too detailed hence the lack of various color tones, I purposely erased some parts of the binding in attempts to not make it stand out more than the characters themselves. And yes I did think about incorporating the concept of the cord's imprisonment more, but decided to leave it as is. Of course I can always edit the background more Again thank you guys.
