JUST A GUY WHO LIKES 2 PAINT. SO THIS IS A QUICK ONE I THREW TOGETHER. IT WAS A PRETTY GOOD RELAXING TIME PUTING THIS ON CANVAS.
LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU THINK. HAVE A GOOD ONE.

I like it. The point of view is also very interesting. One thing I would work on is varying the values. Everything in this painting is very bold and high contrasting. That isn't a bad thing. Most paintings do not have enough contrast. However, objects in the background should not have the same value as objects that are close to us. So I would soften up certain areas. But you did a nice job on this. It looks good.

I APPRECIATE THE FEEDBACK JOE. I SEE WHERE YOUR COMING FROM. IVE ALWAYS BEEN INTO ART AND AS A MATTER OF FACT THIS IS ACTUALLY ONLY MY 3RD OIL PAINTING THAT IVE EVER TRIED, SO THANKS FOR THE TIPS AND I WILL DEFINATLEY WORK OUT THE KINKS ON THE NEXT ONE.

Agree with Joe. I'd like to add that your waterfall
should be broken up a bit to make it seem more natural.
Also, go ahead and add some darker water in a couple of
different colors to give the water more depth.
One last thing - I'm puzzled by the angle of your lake's reflection.
Is there a certain reason for that 'look'?
Stephen, you have a 'natural' (Lol. Overusing the word, or what?) gift.
So glad you're showing us your pieces and keep up the fabulous work!
