Hello Cancer,
To start with I'll say that you are a skilled artist. And they are some things about this painting I will comment about.
I'll tell you my issues 1st.
I see 4 things that need attention. 1st is the ear. I think it should be about haft the size that it is. Perhaps it is this way in real life. But as artist, we need to change things to make them more appealing. 2nd is the eye
ows. They should be darker. 3rd is the lips. perhaps a little lighter.
4th is the hair. It, I think, should have more detail. Maybe a little lightness and darkness here and there. To give a more real look. And perhaps a little more work with the lights and darks on the face.
Now with all that being said. I'll say some other things. The skin tones are outstanding. The white dress is outstanding. The background is also outstanding. And the pose is great. It is a nice painting. But I think with a few changes. And just a little more work. The painting could be framed and hung in a gallery. And it would be an outstanding painting.
Perfection is what drives an artist.
The inability to achieve perfection is what creates a work of art.

Ok, i have worked on the ear, darkened the eye
ows, put highlights in her hair. I made the lips a shade lighter. And I worked on the lights and darks in her face. Is there any other suggestions?

Hello Cancer,
I have one suggestion. Frame it, This is an outstanding painting indeed.
Perfection is what drives an artist.
The inability to achieve perfection is what creates a work of art.

Good Morning!

I do like your colors! They are very subtle and "creamy". Very appropriate for the subject. The form and compositiion work together well. There is an undulation to the childs body that creates a softness and works in concert with the understated color palette.
The anatomy is very stylized. Perhaps the slope of the head and the ears maybe too long realistically, but I will give you that if it was your intent to create "that" image.
Like many artists I think you need to work on controlling your image. What is your goal in conveying your piece and how do you manage you materials to convey this message.
I love your work it's very nice and you do have a bit of talent. Keep up the good work and keep posting!
What I lack in talent I more than make up for with enthusiasm!
