I am new to this site. I have been painting and drawing most of my 41yrs, but it was not until 1999 that I did it every day. I became unable to work my last career due to an accident. I found quickly that being able to draw with charcoal or paint, relieved my physical and emotional pain. This is a painting I did two days ago. My wife loves Gerber Daisies so I have plenty of them around the house. Thanks for you input. And Its a pleasure to be here among such talented people.

Hi there and welcome aboard. The painting is very nice to look at. The colors are nice and it has a very impressionistic feel to it. If that is what you are going for, you succeeded. However, I do recommend that you work on defining the leaves a bit more and keep the contrast between them and the flowers strong. A nice dark green contrast behind the flowers would
ing the flowers out even more.

best regards,
Joe

Well that was what I was trying to create. (Impressionist) Thanks for the advice and I can agree with that.

Thanks again.
