With the unique quality and style of your art work, when you decide to seek gallery representation be very selective as you can afford to be. Make sure it is a good fit for you.
Remember, you will be their
ead and butter. Never be intimidated as you hold all the really important cards being your incredible talent and art work.
I am speaking from personal experience here as have made a few mistakes in the past in dealing with galleries. .
I would research the best most established galleries and single out those who represent the best of your style of work. The have to have a solid reputation for honesty, longevity and taking care/ promoting their signed on artists. The markup will be probably be 50% or more, tough pill to swallow but that’s the way it is..
I think all the marbles are hugely stacked in your corner so tread smartly, be confident and rock the art world and eventually your bank account.
