Thanks Al. I've been showing mostly local and regional exhibitions. Haven't found a gallery yet but then again I haven't been looking very hard.

With the unique quality and style of your art work, when you decide to seek gallery representation be very selective as you can afford to be. Make sure it is a good fit for you.
Remember, you will be their
ead and butter. Never be intimidated as you hold all the really important cards being your incredible talent and art work.
I am speaking from personal experience here as have made a few mistakes in the past in dealing with galleries. .
I would research the best most established galleries and single out those who represent the best of your style of work. The have to have a solid reputation for honesty, longevity and taking care/ promoting their signed on artists. The markup will be probably be 50% or more, tough pill to swallow but that’s the way it is..
I think all the marbles are hugely stacked in your corner so tread smartly, be confident and rock the art world and eventually your bank account.

I had to laugh at what I wrote as I’m sure someone will pick up on this.
I stated “all the marbles are stacked in your corner”. When was the last time you tried to stack marbles? I think the correct analogy would be “cards”.

Hi Brian,
Actually this phrase is not to far from me and may other serious artists reality . The concept of stacking marbles is quite close to representing the struggles regularly encounter in producing paintings that stretch ones ability and tallent. I think I could use this as a new domain name for a website, maybe something like “ alstackingmarbles.com” being a paradox as to how challenging and time consuming this style of work entails.
I’m sure I am one of many artists on this site who have struggled with their work. From my past experience, without being faced with a personal art challenge / crises, but then somehow working through it, you will never feel good about your work. Nothing great comes easy.
I personally do not go for good, I go for great but haven’t hit it yet.
I think your style of work is so incredibly marketable.
