One of my more recent experiments with mixed media. I used paper mache, aluminum foil and acrylic paint on canvas.

Erika, You seem to do a wide range of work. And you do very good in everything you try. This one has great color in it. And it has soft details. A very warm and comforting work.
Perfection is what drives an artist.
The inability to achieve perfection is what creates a work of art.

Thanks John, I like the colours on this one too, however I feel like you when it comes to painting. I experiment when I get hungry for colour. But my heart is in sculpting/modelling/assembling.

Hi Erika,

Great concept and composition. How do you get the foil to stick to the paper? Does the paint hold it in place? Did you make your own paper too? Looks like a fun project. You're so multi talented :D .

So was it a boy or a girl that won the race?
