Jelly Fish

A while back I was working on a jelly fish painting in the work in progress section. Finally got a picture of it. It is 24x48 on MDF in oil.

I love the vi
ancy of the colors, and how graceful the jellyfish look. This is quite a lovely painting. The only thing I would suggest is to give the water a gradient from light blue at the top to dark blue at the bottom, to give it some depth. (Although my computer monitor is dying, so maybe you did do that and I can't see it)
Either way, very nice!

Hi SaraDarlene,

Thanks for your comment and idea on the gradiant background. I always seem to fight with backgrounds. This started out with a gradiant, still has a slight one but would be nice if it had a little more contrast as the camera doesn't pick up blue very well.

Thanks Weirdpuckett.

It turned out very nice, though Sara has a point.
