I'm not a pro, but I love photography. What do you think?

This is a forum where you can post your art work and ask what the world thinks. I am looking for general feedback, nothing too technical. A push in the right direction would be appreciated.

I've been taking pictures for most of my life. When I was a kid we got those one-time use cameras. A few years ago I really set my mind on becoming a professional photographer. The digital camera I bought two Christmas' ago was demolished by a two year old last summer, so I've gone a few months without a decent camera. Last week my grandpa let me borrow his camera for Christmas pictures, and these are what came out of it. It was the first snow for Derby, Kansas. I have an album set up titled "First Snow" that contains all of the pictures I took. These are just a couple of samples.

You have a very good eye for photography.

Now, if only you had the proper equipment to acheive the effect you are trying to capture. Hint to all your family members about buying you a good camera.

I think you did a fanstic job with what you have to work with. I like the angle you choose.

Helps me to remember the cold which would be most welcomed here in Texas! I like the composition and imagery.
