FIRE on The Mountain! Bumped!!! Read my last post!!!

Have you ever had an image in your head that you just HAD to paint....but can't explain why? That's the way with this painting...came to me in a dream(or rather a nightmare) several times over the last few nights. Sat down tonight and put it to canvas.
Must be my subconcious trying to tell me something...but WHAT? I don't own a horse, and don't live on a Mt....although my goal is to return to one soon.
Thoughts?

Okay, I was trying to reply to your message because the painting I just finished is VERY similar to yours - Horses running and the colors are almost exactly the same - that's weird. I tried to upload the image so you could see it but the post is saying my image is too big. The name of my painting is Wild Colors Horse Painting.

I wasn't feeling fear necessarily, in the dream, so I didn't paint fear into the horse. But your observation is correct, the horse isn't afraid...just moving out of harms way....and I think you've just solved (for me) what the "message" is for me. THANKS!!!!( I know you probably don't understand that...but believe me...you have just helped me solve this curiousity)!

Thank you E! but please read my above post...I wasn't trying to paint fear as explained. In my dream...I couldn't figure out why I wasn't afraid...I now have figured out what this dream's message is to me ...Thanks for your comments!

Surreal...reminds me of a dream I had where I was attacked by a horde of toothless crocodiles and then escaped on a dark skinny horse. Very powerful imagery here.

OK...now I am REALLY freaking out!
I had to bump up this post.
This painting was from a dream I had over and over again. I felt I recognized the area, but couldn't put my finger on it, yet I would wake up not fearful, but rather knowing that something wasn't right!
I just found out today, that the area this painting
ought to mind had a wildfire(forest fire) on May 6th. I posted this on April 15th! Thankfully, only structures were lost...but an acquaintance told of a black horse seen running down the Mountain, having escaped from it's burning stable. She described the image, and as she did I freaked! As what she described was exactly as I had painted it...weeks prior!
The horse BTW, was found later, a bit scraped up but safe.
How weird is that?

Id try to find out who owns the horse and see if you could meet it. Just to see what would happen.
It is so strange when things like this happens to us, our third eye often compels us to things that we need to do but neglets to tell us why. So it is freaky when it happens. I've learned to always listen to that inner complusion and have never been dissapointed with the results. I just wish it would compel me to create an amazing painting. ^.^

Thanks K. But, I didn't paint this accurately as far as detail on the horse, or other elements in the painting. It was painted it as I had the dream and felt the need to put it to canvas, very quickly...so it really doesn't reflect accuracy(detail)...but thanks anyway!
You are doing a wonderful job on your horses. So don't quit! I can't wait to see changes for your horse(most recent) painting...I look forward to it.
