Blue Memory

Inspired by the Nightwish song "Ghost Love Score"

"We used to swim the same moonlight waters
Oceans away from the waking day
Scent of the sea before the waking of the world
Brings me to thee into the blue memory"

This is a ghostly image. And the dark bluest green gives the work a spookly feeling. And thier is also a sadness here. And I think that any ghost would have a sad story to tell.
Perfection is what drives an artist.
The inability to achieve perfection is what creates a work of art.

Thank you so much, everyone!

DLKEUR: In the actual picture, her features are blended into the background a little better, but it's so wide, I chopped it up and squished her over to where the BG was a bit lighter, so her edges stand out more sharply than I intended. :( Also, I don't use Air
ush, I use PS 7 vector, smudge, dodge/burn tools, and touch up with paint
ush to fix the colors and lines that smudge and burn tools wreak havoc with. :) The air
ush tool is just too temperamental for my taste, and it's hard to clean up the lines after using it.

Johnwalkeasy: If you Youtube "Ghost Love Score", you'll find out exactly where all the sadness in this piece comes from. :)

Krysta11: Thank you! I try to be as unique in my style as possible, although sometimes I find myself leaning towards the fabulous Waterhouse for inspiration. :)
